Texas Team Golf Coaches specialize in providing score-oriented results for experienced golfers as well as giving beginner golfers a clear, fun path into golf. Our passion as coaches is to get on the golf course with our students and help them play the game better without major swing reconstruction. We give golfers a set of rules to play by to achieve their best results and have more fun.

Your Director of Player Development: Coach Katerina Ruzickova Bruner
Katerina Bruner, a Czech Republic native, grew up playing golf with her dad and brother. She represented her country on the National team, worldwide for 9 years before moving to Phoenix, AZ, where she attended Xavier College Preparatory as an exchange student. In the Czech Republic, she became 5-time National Champion and competed in 3 World Cups and the Universiade Games for her country. While in Arizona, Katerina was the 2008 State Champion, before accepting a scholarship to play for Texas A&M from 2010-2014. At Texas A&M, Katerina became 2-time All-American, won the NCAA East Regional in 2012, and placed top 10 at the NCAA Championships in 2011, and top 15 in 2012.
Before turning professional and playing on the Symetra Tour (2014-2017) Katerina was ranked top 50 Amateur in the world.
Outside of her stellar playing career, she became an instructor at the Brad Lardon Golf Academy at The Golf Club in 2016 and an Assistant Professional at the Traditions Club in 2017.
Katerina returned to Texas A&M in 2018 as an assistant women’s golf coach to follow her passion for coaching, teaching, and developing world-class players.
Katerina brings rich experience and knowledge of the game and her love for teaching will be a great addition to TexasTeam.

Wendi Wiese is the Director of Instruction at Pebble Creek Country Club. She has been recognized as a Top 50 Kids Golf Teacher in the United States. Originally from Hearne, Wendi played golf for and graduated from Texas A&M University before landing at Texas A&M as the Assistant Golf Coach for 11 years. Since then Wendi has shifted to full-time coaching and built 3 major, year-long coaching programs for juniors at Pebble Creek.
In addition to extensive long-term development programming, Wendi conducts small group coaching for players of all levels- from competitive juniors, tour players, elite amateurs, and club golfers. As a passionate learner, she attends several education events each year with focused study on Motor Learning, Skill Acquisition, Short Game Performance, and Elite Junior Development. Wendi matches her player’s passion for improvement and is committed to getting a little better everyday.
